AIS currently has several teaching positions available for qualified teachers. Interested candidates should e-mail a cover letter and resume to the attention of Mr. Toshi Kawai. The teaching positions are as follows:


1. Preschool Teacher

The successful candidate must be a Japanese citizen with either an E.C.E degree or a degree in education from an overseas university or college. Preferably, the candidate will also possess a teaching degree from a Japanese college or university. High English skills and a TOEIC score of no less than 800 are also necessary.


2. Kindergarten Assistant

The successful candidate may be a native English teacher or a Japanese citizen with either an E.C.E degree or a degree in education from an overseas university or college. Experience working with younger children is also preferred.


3. Elementary School Teacher

The successful candidate must be a Japanese citizen with an education degree from a Japanese university or college. Preferably, the candidate will also possess a degree from an overseas college or university. Excellent English skills are also necessary.
