

AIS holds many special events throughout the school year, including a school sleepover, sports day, summer festival, talent show, Halloween party, Christmas musical, family picnic, and speech contest.

Among these, the AIS Halloween party is perhaps the largest Halloween party for younger students in all of Japan! Over 250 pumpkins and hundreds of dollars of Halloween prizes and candy are imported for this event to accommodate all of the to accommodate all of the children who want to attend.

The Christmas musical is another special evening. The entire musical is written and composed by the AIS staff. At the end of the night Santa visits the students with very special presents for them to take home.
In addition to many special events, AIS students also go on several field trips. The upper kindergarten students go on two field trips per term, whereas the elementary school students go on one field trip approximately every two months. Some of the places that the students visit include the zoo, the aquarium, the science museum, a baseball game, theme parks, and factories.
